The most unprofitable cryptocurrencies (ADA, MATIC, AVAX)
According to IntoTheBlock, over 90% of Cardano, Polygon and Avalanche cryptocurrency holders are in a losing position.
Cardano (ADA)
IntoTheBlock data shows that 95% of Cardano (ADA) investors have remained in a loss. At the same time, 4% of holders find themselves in a break-even position, and early Cardano holders stopped receiving income at all (0%).
The majority of ADA holders, over 60%, are long-term holders who have owned Cardano cryptocurrency for a year or more.
Polygon (MATIC)
96% of Polygon (MATIC) holders are in minus. 0% of Polygon investors have a breakeven position. Only 4% of early MATIC holders are making a profit on their investment in the asset.
59% of holders have kept their crypto assets for more than a year. According to IntoTheBlock, 85% of Polygon's traded shares are in the hands of large holders, and none of the investors are getting returns from investing in MATIC.
Avalanche (AVAX)
Avalanche (AVAX) ranks 19th in market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap, and 15th among tracked projects on the IntoTheBlock dashboard.
As in the case of Cardano, AVAX investors do not profit from the asset (0%), and 100% suffer losses at all. However, unlike ADA and MATIC, long-term AVAX holders account for only 32%.
* * *
Analysis of IntoTheBlock data shows that the situation with the falling yields of ADA, MATIC and AVAX, which are among the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, is only a special case of the general decline in the value of cryptoassets and the ongoing market crisis.
Also suffering losses are investors who have invested in cryptocurrencies such as:
- Arbitrum (ARB) — making profits 0%, breaking even 0%, losing money 100%
- Axie Infinity (AXS) — making profits 0%, breaking even 0%, losing money 100%
- Chiliz (CHZ) — making profits 5%, breaking even 0%, losing money 95%
- ApeCoin (APE) — making profits 0%, breaking even 0%, losing money 100%
- Sandbox (SAND) — making profits 0%, breaking even 1%, losing money 99%
- Algorand (ALGO) — making profits 0%, breaking even 0%, losing money 100%
- and many others
Most likely, investors should not expect significant growth in cryptocurrency capitalization in the coming years due to reduced liquidity in the markets.
